My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jaime
This pretty girl is about a year-and-a half old, and she's been with us for almost a year of her young life awaiting the right person to take her home. She has been at the Stray Facility since spring 2017 and we can't understand why -- she is a gorgeous girl with a lot to offer. She can be a little catty, with some grumpiness when she is caught after darting out of her room to explore the facility (she is just trying to make sure she gets matched up with someone who will really appreciate her) but she loves affection and is quick to purr. She is pretty funny when she has to share her room with a kitten or two -- she acts like they annoy her but we think she might actually be enjoying herself. She is in the room with a view -- it has a storm door so she can see out into the facility -- and she can often be seen peeking over the edge of the door watching and talking to the volunteers, surfing back and forth from one side of the door to the other -- so cute, so funny. Stop by (see hours on the main page) or call to meet this great cat who has been waiting a long time to find her person/people.

Featured as the Pet of the Week in the April 13, 2017, and Jan. 4, 2018, issues of the Fort Leavenworth Lamp.
