Lucy's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Lucy.

Lucy is a loving, affectionate, sweet, playful Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix who is about 1-2 years old.

She's Housebroken. She is wonderful with children! Lucy lives with 4 kids under 7 and she was amazing with them.

Lucy also loves other dogs and is ready to play!

Lucy has been crated at night and when her "people" left the house and did fine with it.

Lucy was adopted but is coming back to Lucky Lab because she is jumping her owner's chain link fence. The fence is 3 ft 9 in high so she would need a home with a fence taller than that or some other set up.

Her owners say, "We are very sad to see her go and she will be missed. She will make someone very happy."

She is spayed vaccinated and microchip and ready to go to a new home! Please apply at www.luckylabrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Austin Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
