RP Vampire's Story...
RP Vampire is not a scary character. She is a friendly, affectionate girl. Vamp will be 2 years old on April 6. She has been in her foster home for a couple of weeks and is really doing well. Vamp loves being with people and enjoys laying at your side. In her foster home she is living with an older Greyhound and they get along very well. She weighs 55 lbs so a perfect size for a lap dog. Vampire had way too much interest in a small dog so would do better in a home without small dogs or cats. She gets along well with medium and larger dogs. If you would like to meet this beauty and have her eyes melt your heart please call Janet or Bob at 573 535-4812 to arrange a meeting. She is located in Punta Gorda. Vamp is current on her vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RP Vampire, a North Port Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in North Port, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in North Port.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Port already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Port breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Port paves the way for another one to be saved.
