Hypo is an 8 month old little guy who has had a really rough road. When he was about 6 weeks old he was found laying in the middle of the road after a thunderstorm. He was stiff and ice cold. Sadly, the sibling he was curled up next to had already been struck by a car and passed away. Thankfully some people saw the Hypo was still alive and were in the process of getting him off the road when a rescue volunteer happened to see them. Hypo was rushed back to the rescue for immediate care.
Hypo was so cold his body temperature would not register on a thermometer and he could barely moved. Thankfully, our vets helped us get him warmed up again, fed and hydrated. Since he was alone and scared, Hypo moved in to foster care with a mom and her litter of young kittens. It didn't take long before Hypo was acting like a kitten himself!
Once Hypo and his adoptive feline family were old enough, they came back to our adoption center and began searching for their perfect forever homes. Hypo would really love to find a calm home with older kids or adults. He is a very affectionate little guy, but he needs time and patience to feel comfortable around new people. Hypo is wonderful with other cats and loves to play with, cuddle and even help groom his feline friends at the rescue.
Hypo is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative and has been dewormed.
