Sassy's Story...
Sassy is a typical tortie. She enjoys being the center of attention and in the middle of everything. She has the "tortitude" along with her sister, Prissy. Sassy is friendly, outgoing and playful and if you are not paying attention to her, she will interject herself into whatever you are doing. But she is also a lap kitty and loves to be loved. Her mother is a sweet, friendly, social kitty so she has a lot of that personality as well.

Sassy is anticipating being the queen bee in her new home. Are you qualified to be her loyal and devoted minion? She is willing to share her reign with her sister Prissy or her either of other siblings Tipper or Whiskers. She would certainly be willing to train your current kitty to honor her as well. She's open to that. :)

If you would like to meet this little diva and/or her siblings, please contact the group at felinecaninehouston@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
