WENDY is both beautiful and friendly. She is very loving and happily greets everyone who comes over to see her. Her adorable, kind personality is expressed perfectly through her frequent tail wagging. You can just tell she is a happy dog! She loves going on walks and adventures. She has never met a stranger in her life. One of her favorite places is in the back yard playing fetch with her ball! She also loves chasing leaves in the fall, and just relaxing inside by the fire place.
WENDY is potty trained and loves children! She is wonderful with other dogs and can certainly share her home with doggie siblings. She would also be content soaking up all your affection as the only pup. WENDY has never spent time around cats. If the perfect forever home has feline family members, we would be happy to introduce her to some kitties. WENDY will keep a smile on the faces of her lucky forever family and help them make a happy memories for years to come.
WENDY is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is the perfect age of 3 years old.
Her $450 adoption fee includes her cost of transport after she is adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
