Tommy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with cats.

Tommy's Story...
I was found as a feral kitten with 3 siblings. I was really shy at first and didn't want anyone to touch me. I'm used to being held and I love when people pet me, but I'm still a little shy at first and might need some time to adjust in a home. I might be OK with older kids but I would really like a quiet home. I promise I'll give you lots of love in return. I've really learned to like being held and I love skritches behind my ears and obviously by my photo you can tell I like to chill out. I would really be a great friend for anyone who adopts me and gives me time to adjust.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tommy, a Washingtonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Washingtonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Washingtonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washingtonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washingtonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washingtonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
