Wiley's Story...
Hi! I’m Wiley! The nice people from Black Dog Walk rescued me so I could relax in a foster home while waiting for my forever home. I am about 7 years old, neutered male, tan and cream Belgian Malinois and weigh 60 pounds. Don’t let my age get in the way of having a good time! I have a lot of energy and am very playful! I like to run about in the yard and play fetch. I walk very well on the leash (until I see another dog and then I want to play), and know basic commands such as sit, stay and lay down. When I am at home, I am a very well behaved fellow and am house trained.
I have had several play dates with other dog friends and they have gone quite well. Cats, though, are not my thing. My fur is so soft, and when you see my charming smile, it will make you fall in love with me and want to take me home! I am an affectionate fellow that would make an excellent companion dog for any active adult or family with older children.
My $100 adoption fee includes my up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine, and microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact Jan for an application. A $50 deposit will hold me until a home check can be done, and the remaining $50 will be due before taking me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiley, a Ogden Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
