Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sage, named for savory spice, reminds foster mom of the old fashioned rhyme “Sugar and spice and all things nice, that’s what beagle girls are made of” (that’s the way foster mom remembers it anyway).
Sage was at first a shy girl, coming straight to her foster home from a puppy mill, but it didn’t take her long to shed the old ways and old fears and become all she was meant to be.
Sage is affectionate with a sweet nature, but also enjoys her own space. She loves petting, hugs and kisses, but then generally goes to the end of the couch or a dog bed to chew a bone or take a snooze.
She is amiable, gets along with and plays with all different types of dogs. She loves to rough and tumble, but if no one will go along…playing by herself is always a good option too!
And a beautiful face? Well, just have a look.
Savory as sage and sweet as sugar, that’s our girl!
