My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Sophie, a 9-year-old, spayed female, tan and white bully mix and weigh about 50 pounds. I am a very sweet girl that just wants to be loved. I have good leash manners and appear to be house trained. I like to be outside checking things out, so it would be great if my forever home has a fenced yard. As you can see, I really love to play with toys!

A side note about my age; the lifespan of my breed is typically 13 to 15 years, so I am only a little over middle-age right now, which is just
perfect for someone who would prefer a mature dog over a puppy that has to be trained in obedience and house trained. I seem to have a touch of arthritis, so a leisurely walk and a good napping spot makes my life complete. I would be best suited as the only dog in the home.. I would be a great companion dog for any person or family with respectful children.

My $250 adoption fee includes a weekly mandatory training class through Petco for 6 weeks, my spay, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, rabies vaccine, leash, and collar. A $125 deposit will hold me until a home check can be completed, the other $125 would be due upon taking me home. I would love to find a family where I can spend my golden years doing what I love the most, which is being with people.
