I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
TAHOE is amazing! We believe him to be a German Shepherd/Husky mix. He is
80#s and just absolutely loving and affectionate. We gave him a birthday of
March 2014 so he is about 3 yrs old. He has lots of energy and would be
good for a high energy family. He is good with people and has learned to
'Sit' but 'Stay' still evades him. Neutering has helped a lot in that area.
We have been practicing SIT before he is fed to teach him to calm down. He
does not jump on you but runs around you like a loose ping-pong ball. That
will reduce once he gets more exercise. He is not good with cats...The
prey instinct is there. He has not experienced being in a home and having
house manners. He needs guidance but he's willing. Tahoe's fur was in
horrible condition when he first came to us but has since become super soft.
You must see the additional pictures we have of his coat showing some
"dappling" Tahoe is heartworm NEGative and on prevention.
I would not recommend small children around him until he is trained more
manners. He wouldn't hurt a child on purpose but he is large enough to
unknowingly knock them down.
Adoption Fee: $395 Includes all the medical, microchipping, health
certificate for travel and all travel expenses up to the PNW. He is scheduled to arrive on Saturday April 22nd and with a pre-adoption you can pick him up at one of our pick up locations (Bothell, Federal Way, Olympia, Tualitin or Eugene). If he's not adopted prior to coming to WA he will go into foster care with meets on a first come basis.
