Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Foster mom says, first and most important, is that I should tell you I am housetrained. She says I am the first foster dog she has had that is completely housetrained. I have never had an accident in the house or my crate. I say of course not, I do know my manners. She also says I am probably one of the most well-adjusted fosters she has had.
And she says I should tell you I am crate trained. I go in my crate with a treat and do not make a fuss in my crate at all. But now at my foster house I have been given run of the house because I am such a good girl.
At my foster home, is a resident 2-year-old male beagle boy and we play all the time. We play toys and chew lots of chews everyday and we run and run in the yard till we are tired. And then foster mom says that is the best time for her and that is when we take our afternoon naps.
Also in the foster home is a 10-year-old beagle boy. I try to show him I am in charge of him but he growls at me and tells me to get off his back. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, and then foster mom gets out the squirt bottle to get me off. I listen to foster mom then because I don't like water. What normal beagle does?
I think I would be OK in a house without another dog, although I do love to play. As long as I get lots of attention from my family, I probably would do fine by myself. More rubbing on me is a good thing. I just love to be the center of attention. That is why my foster family calls me Riva the Diva.
Speaking of getting attention, foster mom tells me I should tell you I am a little thing. I am only 13" tall and when I curl up on the couch to get my share of rubbin's I hardly take up any room at all. I curl up my face in my tail and you hardly know I am there. So if you have a little room (I don't take up much) in your home and heart, contact BREW about me. Riva the Diva!
