My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Tanner is 6 month rough coated Border Collie pup brought to rescue from a working litter with a bit more puppies than they can find the right homes for! Tanner and his siblings have been well socialized with various adults and children coming to the ranch and meeting some other dogs. He is the more laid back of the bunch holding his own as the leader, he is very loving and sweet a stop button to his puppy energy! Tanner follows her canine parents as they go to work on the farm and herds the barn cats to their place, of course he follows the human commands and knows some basic commands and is watching hand signals as he is very quick to learn however he is not leash trained or fully house trained. He never wants to go off and do her own Border Collie things he wants to be outside with you and the pack. Tanner is a great pup for BC owners or some one wanting a loving, caring smart pup to train into a wonderful Border Collie. This breed does very well with plenty of stimulation/exercise incorporating stimulation, quieter settings, routine, knowing the expectations of a puppy and a herding dog. Tanner will be fully vaccinated and neutered when more of age or a neuter contract, micro chipped. An ideal home for him would be where plenty of time to adjust to new surrounding, socializing him to new surroundings/various puppy skills, crate training, someone who can give time during a work day for a hearty break, fully fenced in yard 6 feet, no apartments, children 6 and up, either other dogs in the home or socialization with dogs, if there is a cat in the home it must be dog friendly assuming that it could be herded and this is a young active dog. I can certainly recommend quite a lot of golden rules and must haves with young dogs and want a working Foster to Adopt relationship for Tanner. Adoption donation $300 must have an approved application emailed back to an inquiry to see if a match, home visit if applicable and a working relationship to follow Tanner's care.
