And now, a few words from me:

Hi everyone, my name is Huxley.  Have you been looking to adopt a young dog to be by your side and to teach him things?  I’m a very eager student waiting for a new home that will want to continue with my training so I can become the best dog that they have ever seen!  I will do anything for a treat!

I love my walks so we can both get out there and enjoy the world.  I have a bit of an obsession with the cats in my foster home so a home without cats might be better for me unless your cat has been dreaming of having a dog to play with.  Batting me on the head makes me practice my duck and dodge moves. You see, I love to play and I don't really understand why a cat wants to nap all the time!

I would love to share my home with another small active dog.  I think I could learn a lot from a well balance dog.  I have learned to share things in my foster home with the other dogs and I’m doing very well, if I say so myself.

If you are looking for a young guy who is looking to learn, then look no further.  My name is Huxley and I’m looking for you.

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Huxley loves life.  As soon as his eyes are open he is greeting you with such enthusiasm that it would be hard not to have a happy start to your day.  He loves to be by your side wherever you may be going.  When he can’t be with, if you put a couple of treats into his crate and his favourite toys he will go into it without any issues.  He is housebroken and will ask to go outside and loves to romp around the backyard.

He loves a good game of fetch and will bring his toy back to you to throw it again for him.  Huxley, like most dogs will bark at noises, so apartment or townhome living may not be the best for him.

Huxley would benefit going to training school.  He is still quite young and he is very eager to learn.  He is quite smart and will try to outwit you.  Showing him positive reinforcement is going a long way.  He has gorgeous greenish eyes and he knows exactly how to use them on you.

In the right home, Huxley will blossom.  If you think you may be the home for Huxley, hurry and put an application in for him.

Our Adoption Process...

In order to adopt from us, you need to complete an adoption application. Follow this link

Once the application is completed, it will be reviewed for suitability, and if yes, we will book a telephone interview with you, and check the veterinary and personal references that you provided. If that goes well, a home visit will be booked, and if your home is safe, the adoption can proceed. You will be required to execute and adoption contract and pay a set adoption fee
