My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco! She is 6 year old pekingese. This sweet girl has had a rough start and is ready to be spoiled and loved! She was left behind by her first owners and their kind neighbors took her in after finding her in very rough shape in the ditch by their home! They believe she may have been hit by a car. Because of this and the fact that she had gone some time on her own, her injuries did not heal properly. Coco has some weakness and instabity in her back legs and hips causing her to have minor trouble walking. However, she works very hard to keep up with her foster sisters, and shows no sign of being in pain!

The vet is confident with a great diet and regular light exercise she can build up more muscle tone. Coco sufferred from mange, which has cleared up, and is HW positive. The family that took her in understood her condition was more than they could provide vet care for and agreed to surrender her. Coco is now growing in a fluffy coat, and has nearly completed her heart worm treatment. She is sweet as can be and just wants to find a family of her own. Please consider adopting Coco!
