Albert's Info...

Albert's Story...
Albert is under 1 yr old male Teddy breed guinea pig. He arrived at our rescue with a severe ulcerated eye. His owner could not care for the eye injury and decided to surrender Albert so he could received veterinarian care. Albert was seen by our vet and immediately started on antibiotics. We did not believe we were going to be able to save his eye however Albert pulled thru. During his follow up appt, Our vet feels that his eye is healed however he may only have "cloudy" vision in it but he will be able to keep his eye without any further issues.

Albert is small for his age. He is super friendly and cute as a button. He is quiet unless its veggie time, and he will wait at the cage door for his veggies everyday. He loves to eat and he is not picky at all. He truly loves apples, and baby carrots. He enjoys fleece bedding, He loves to play in boxes. He also loves orchard hay.
The cage he was surrendered in was broken and un-repairable. We can offer a hut (which he never had before and he loves it) and a food dish with his adoption. He is really enjoying the larger cage he has at the rescue. ( 3 by 4 C & C cage)
