My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB April 26, 2016. Dust Bunny is almost a year old, though you wouldn't know it from looking at her. She is a forever kitten, weighing just about four pounds. DB is extremely social; she loves dogs and cats, and is a typical sassy playful kitten. She will chase a ball around for hours, and wrestles with her foster sister Doberman Pinscher. When she isn't playing, she spends her time perched on her human's shoulder like a parrot, sometime for hours a day, and loves to snuggle.
However, DB is looking for an extra special home for a couple of reasons:
1. While she doesn't let it hold her back at all, Dusty is nearly fully blind. She does not have a right eye, and her left eye's functionality is minimal. Best guess is that she can perhaps see light vs dark, but not much more.
2. Perhaps relating to her vision and the fact that she was found feral and separated from her litter far too young, DB does engage in some inappropriate play, primarily some mouthing. She does not break skin ever, but she does play bite..
3. Dust Bunny's liver is not properly functional. This explains her small size, and also means she will have a shorter than average lifespan. Unfortunately there is no predicting what that means, so her furever family will have to be willing to be mindful of her quality of life, and be willing to make that choice for her when it's in her best interest.
4. DB had URI as a baby and, while she is healthy now, she does occasionally have flare-ups that mean she ends up with a snotty nose. It isn't contagious, but does require her humans to clean her face with baby wipes every so often.
Despite these quirks, Dust Bunny is a survivor and a genuine joy to be with, and she's a very special soul. Come meet her today and prepare to fall in love!
