Please welcome the awesome CARA to Saving Paws! We rescued Cara a few days ago from MCACC West, where she had been picked up as a stray. We estimate this pretty girl to be about a year old. She is an absolute sweetheart. Cara is very energetic - no surprise since she is still a youngster. We think Cara is going to be OK with other dogs, but she is a little overwhelming - she needs to learn to channel her energy! She already knows "Sit" so someone cared for her at one time before she was left to her own devices. She will need some leash training - in fact Cara would benefit from training in general, like most GSD pups. She would enjoy it very much - she is a smart cookie. (And we offer FREE training weekly!).
