Sebastian's Story...
Sebastian is looking for his forever home!

Sebastian is a lovely 3 1/2 years old boy, neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative - "I was rescued by Big Hands Little Paws from the NYCACC in 2014 just in time and have lived w/my human and cat family since. Although I think I like other cats, I sometimes play too rough and might do best as an only cat w/lots of human attention. I love to play, but also love to lounge in the sun". This cat is a DOLL and would be excellent for a new couple or single just starting out on their own! Email adopt.littlewanderersnyc@gmail.com for an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a New York American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
