Roscoe's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Roscoe's Story...
We saw Roscoe being posted for sale by a lady who had stated he was not fixed. For small dogs this is not good as people will buy them to use them for breeding, this is no life for a dog. Backyard breeders do not care about the dogs, just what money they can make off them. When talking to the lady she had his mum and she was not fixed either. We asked if she needed help in getting her fixed and she said yes so we got Roscoe and his mum fixed at the same time. Roscoe is a sweetheart in his foster home. He plays with all the other small dogs in the house. He is not sure of the cat. He has not hurt her but if she runs he will chase. If you tell him no he will stop. Roscoe is about a year and a half old and 8lbs, so full grown. He is a pure bred Chihuahua. He is fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. If you want a little snuggle buddy this is your man. We do recommend with the tiny dogs not going to families with small children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Ashburn Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ashburn, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ashburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
