Keiko's Story...
Meet Keiko,

This sweet Shiba Inu girl was picked up as a stray and taken to animal control where she served her stray hold. She was so loving and just begging for attention and love. She wanted to be saved. On the day of her release Team Stinkykiss raced to the shelter to pull her out and put her in a wonderful foster home. She is adjusting and starting to really love life. She is beautiful, sweet and will make a wonderful family member to some lucky family.

Keiko's adoption fee is $175. This includes her deworming, DHPP and rabies vaccines, heartworm test and preventive (through date of adoption), Flea and tick preventive (through date of adoption), spay, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keiko, a Aiken Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Aiken, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Aiken.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aiken already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aiken breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aiken paves the way for another one to be saved.
