Simba's Story...
SIMBA

Simba is a 3 month old cream colored Schnauzer mix, could be some Border Terrier in that mix too! His coloring is beautiful and he is a very adaptable (and adoptable!) pup. Simba has a sweet nature and is potty trained and doggy door trained. Based on the size of his paws, we are estimating he will reach 15 - 25 pounds, so he will still be a great size to fit in your lap, and will love activity such as hiking . Simba currently weighs 13 pounds.
He loves to play and cuddle and has no fear or anxiety about strangers. He is seamlessly integrated with all the humans and fellow furry friends in his current home, so should easily adapt to his forever family. If you would like to make Simba a part of your family please fill out an application online at www.lapdogrescue.org and include his name at the top. Please Note, Simba's adoption fee is $225

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Tijeras Border Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Border Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Border Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
