Valentina's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Valentina's Story...
Valentina is a lovely sweet girl in search of her forever home. She loves to be close to her human for lots of petting and to give kisses. She is house and crate trained and uses a pet door, and has had no accidents. She does like to be in charge, but if she respects her human and four legged friends she will be fine. She can be very protective of her human, too. Val would probably do better as and only dog or with a large confident male for a companion.

Spayed female
3 1/2
Current on shots
House and crate trained
Micro chipped
HW positive, doing slow kill method
Great with people and children
Good with most dogs, but likes to be in charge
Seemed ok with cat, but more testing needed

Valentina is as sweet and gentle as can be, but sometimes tries to dominate or boss the other dogs, especially if they are smaller, so a large male would be better. She loves to play, too. So far she has shown no interest in fetching a ball, and not much into most toys.

Sadly, she is heartworm positive. We are doing the slow kill method on her, and have had great results with many dogs. If the adopter prefers, we can do the regular treatment after adoption, and at our vet.

If you think this lovely girl would be a good addition to your household, please go to our website and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentina, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
