Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a sweet 5 month old boy, probably lab mix! He is as handsome as can be! Sweet , shy personality but as soon as he gets to know you he wags his tail like crazy!
He walks well on his leash, loves to play, enjoys his Benebone to chew on ! He gets along well with other dogs. He is crate trained and runs in it to wait for a puppy biscuit! He is pretty much potty trained! He enjoys playing in the backyard.
He would do well with some puppy training to become a well trained dog.
He would love a nice fenced backyard and a comfy bed and lots of love!
For an application go to: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/
He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and current on trifexis. He is located in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Huntsville Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
