Nadia's Story...
This tough girl is the leader of her pack. She is Sassy, headstrong, and is cute enough to get her way. She still in foster care for a few more weeks but she is already winning over a lot of hearts. She is one in a litter of four little ladies rescued from Downey. We successfully trapped, vaccinate and spayed momma. We are taking applications now for these little ones so they don't have to go into kennels for adoption. Our adoption Donation: $75 (Your donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for their spay/neuter/shots/deworming/flea meds/microchip).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nadia, a La puente Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La puente, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La puente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La puente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La puente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La puente paves the way for another one to be saved.
