Tasha's Story...
2 years old
Ain’t nothing but a hound dog! Tasha was adopted and returned to our shelter when the other dog in the house didn’t like her. Her previous owner let us know that she loves other dogs, doesn’t care for cats and loves children but can be a little rambunctious. Tasha is a loving dog who will stay glued to your side insisting on a scratch behind the ears. She would be the perfect fit for a big forever family with lots of people to love on. Tasha is a sweet as can be floppy eared companion looking for a forever family to call her own

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a Fruit Heights Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
