My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DeeDee is a 7 year old, bomb-proof, gal that loves to do pretty much anything! While her speciality may be looking cute and napping, she enjoys going on outdoor adventures too. DeeDee is a social butterfly that enjoys the company of other doggies and people (she has a calm soul and would do great in a home with kiddos)!

Our adoption fee is $250 and covers: health certificate, microchip, bordetella, dhlpp and rabies vaccines, spay or neuter (if not already altered), a Ruffwear harness and use of Whistle GPS tracker for 3 months.

Things To Consider Before Inquiring:

- Our adoptable sleds dog are used to living in a traditional working kennel environment (ie: completely outdoors). This means that they will need to be house trained and exposed to house stimulus like stairs, cars, vacuums, wood floors, etc. Adopting an adult sled dog is similar to welcoming a puppy.

- Our adoptable sled dogs range from medium to high energy. In general they require multiple walks daily and engaging toys when inside the home. A bored/under exercised sled dog can be a destructive and anxious sled dog!

- Our adoptable sled dogs are trained to run and are therefore in general are a high flight risk! We do require that they be on leash or within a fenced in yard at all times until proper recall training has been received.

- While many of our adoptable sled dogs have befriended kitties in their new homes, we do not have cats at our facility to "test" them with. That being said, adopters are instructed to monitor all interactions with small animals as there is no telling how they may react.
