My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jose is a gorgeous 3-year-old who along with his buddy Alex has been returned from his adoptive home after the owner lost his job. Jose is gorgeous and doesn't get mats in his fluffy fur; he appears to be a Persian mix, and also has the sensitive eyes of a Persian. His owners reported that in their home, his eyes cleared up immediately, so we think he is just too sensitive in such a large cat population and with so much litter in use -- in any normal home, we think he'll have great results. He's good-looking and loves head kisses and petting, but he's not much for wanting to lay on your lap -- we think his fur keeps him too warm to appreciate a lap. He's quiet and sweet, and his "little old man" face is so funny! His origins: He got lost as a kitten on the 4th of July and a nice person found him crying and hungry on their porch. We think he may be Percy's brother because Percy was found about a week later, hanging onto a tree and crying. Jose is a laid-back guy who LOVES to nap on top of the tallest climber we have. He likes to play with toys and other cats but seems to be quite happy alone, entertaining himself. He's very quiet but canned food oriented, so watch his weight, he's already heavy as a brick. He's neutered, tested and up to date on shots, perfect with his litterbox, and VERY picky about keeping his fur clean and perfect. His only little problem is he has the common watery Persian eyes so we regularly wipe his cheeks with some gentle antiseptic. He's a beautiful boy and very, very sweet.
