My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My Name is Oskar and I am a stunning Dachshund. I was born on 06/03/2012 and I weigh 15 pounds.

I am currently being fostered in Durham , NC......applications between Durham, NC and Greenville, SC will be considered.

I was signed over to the local Emergency Clinic after I went down in my back. The awesome surgeon called CLHR and asked if they would take me in and have my surgery done. Well, they did and I am now walking again. I am a Rock Star and have had 1 IVDD Surgery. Please make sure you are informed on my breed and what limitations and precautions you need to have in place to ensure my back health.

I live with 2 other Dachshunds and would love to either be an only child or live with other Dachshunds. I am super sweet and just take a little bit to warm up to new people. I am house trained, leash trained and crate trained. I like toys and I love to be held and cuddled. I am not a yappy young man but I will let you know if the door bell is ringing. Typical Dachshund I am :)
