Maestro's Story...
Hi there! I'm Maestro, a mature guy, looking for love. My mom couldn't take care of me anymore and WAAL promised to find a good home for me... is that with you maybe? I have lived with cats and dogs previously and did well, although I do take some time to warm up and I can be a little shy. I'm a reserved guy who just wants a lap to lay on. Sure, I'll bat a toy around here or there but I'm more into a laid back and easy going kind of lifestyle. I'm front and back declawed, neutered, litter box trained, FeLV negative, microchipped vaccinated and dewormed. What are you waiting for? Let's start our forever together! I'm currently at PetSmart East on Greenwich & Kellogg so come see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maestro, a Wichita Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
