Amber and her brother Andy were found in a rough area of San Bernardino hiding in the bushes. They were scared and very, very hungry when our friend Allison rescued them. She asked residents from a nearby house if they had info about these scared little pups, and they said, "They're ours, but we don't want them." Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon scenario in San Bernardino where dogs are abandoned so often - it's heartbreaking!
Despite being tossed out into the cold at such young ages, Amber and Andy have so much love to give to a deserving adopter. They are crate and newspaper trained and get along well with other dogs. Currently, they like to bark at the kitties, but we are working on changing that ;->
Andy's adoption fee is $375 which covers the cost of 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccines, fecal testing, deworming, rabies vaccine, microchip and neuter.
If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
Puppies adoption fees range from $325 to $525 and always include the cost of Spay/Neuter, 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccinations, Rabies and microchip at 4 months when altered, 2 de wormings, fecal testing and medication related to worms, or parasites (coccida/giardia).
All prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application available on our website, www.poochmatch.com. The completed application may be returned via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com. An acknowledgement of receipt and review will be sent to you within twenty-four hours. Dogs of interest may generally be met between the hours of noon and 5 pm on Saturdays at Petsmart, Yorba Linda, 5521 Mirage Street, Savi Ranch Shopping Center, adjacent to the 91 freeway. Exit at Yorba Linda Boulevard/Weir Canyon Road.
