My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack! He is a 1 year old black/white/brindle, 57 lb. Border Collie/Catahoula Cur blend. Jack was purchased from a breeder at the age of 12 weeks. Due to the owner’s health issues he could no longer care for Jack so he had to make the painful decision to find him a new home. Jack is a wonderful kind dog who loves people, including children and other dogs. Jack has not had much training but is very smart and learns quickly. The Catahoula breed is described as very affectionate with family, medium-high energy level, and quite intelligent. Of course Border Collies rank as one of the smartest breeds, affectionate with family and children, easy to train, and moderate to high energy level. Jack has been started in obedience training and is doing quite well. His adopter should plan to continue training so Jack can mature into a good citizen after adolescence. Jack does like to chase cats – so no cat home is needed. Jack would be a great hiking, running or camping companion. He is not suitable for an apartment.

He is a great guy who will provide wonderful companionship for years to come. Won’t you consider making Jack the next addition to your family?

Jack is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org, email 3rrescue@gmail.com or phone 707-529-4643.
