Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ladybug is completed heart-worm treatment. She does much better meeting new dogs. She does fine within a few minutes to a few hours, instead of a few days. She loves love and loves to love. She will put her front legs in your lap and give kisses. You can point at her kennel, and even if she does not want to, she will go in. She loves, loves antlers. She enjoys toys and the back yard. She loves walks, but does not do well; she pulls on the leash. With some training, she will get better. She is still not a dog for the park or doggie daycare. She will protect your property whwile giving your family lots of love.
Ladybug had a terrible begining in life. It seems she was either fought or used as a bait dog. She had scars all over her face and front legs. Her ears have been cut or ripped almost off. She was dumped into the streets of Memphis. She became pregnant. Before I could save her, a man took her in saying he was going to keep her. She had 13 puppies. He sold them for $15 and threw her back to the streets like trash. Her bones showed, all of them. She was full of milk. I had to pick her up and carry her to my car. She was too mal-nourished to even get her shots. We had to wait 2 weeks while I got her healthy enough. Ladybug is a lovebug. She loves people. She loves to hug and kiss. It takes her 2-3 days to feel safe around another dog. Her fear does come out aggressively, but after 2-3 days, she does fine and plays with the new dog. There are 5 other dogs here that she lives with. We pet-sit and after 2-3 days we can have her with them, but in that 2-3 day period, she must be kept separated. We have her kennel in the living room so she can get to know them and realize they are not going to hurt her. She can not be introduced to dogs immediately. She goes on defense/attack mode. Once settled, she does great with other dogs. if you think you have the love, patience, and experience to adopt this sweet stray, please email me. Micro-chipped, UTD on all shots, spayed
