Bert's Story...
Meet little Bert. He's an eighteen week old, 16 pound Labrador Retriever mix boy seeking a forever home. If you are looking for Mr. Chill you've found your pup.

He and his siblings had been living outside with their mom and are currently working on potty training and basic obedience commands. He hasn't shown interest in cats, but he gets along very well with other dogs! His favorite things is having his tummy rubbed! He loves stuffed animals and to tries to play fetch with the big dogs at his foster home. He has two sisters who are looking for their FORever homes too!

If interested in Bert or his sisters please go to forrescue.net and submit an application.

He and his sisters are fostered in Huntsville, Alabama.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bert, a Chattanooga Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) puppy from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
