Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shadow, Hurricane, MaryJane, Miss, and Fluffers all arrived as surrenders from the same owner, who could no longer care for them. They all get along with each other fine and are sharing Cat Room 6 right now, but none need to be adopted together.
Shadow is a pretty dilute tortoiseshell girl (mostly grey) who, at 10 years old, is one of three seniors in this family group. She is very laid-back, a bit shy around strangers, and is affectionate but not too pushy. She is an easy keeper who is a little bit overweight and should be on a gradual weight loss regimen to regain a more svelte figure. Shadow also has a slightly kinked tail. We think she would adapt fairly quickly to pretty much any type of family, including one with other pets.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Shadow is suggested minimum $20 (more gratefully accepted), or she is eligible for the Senior for Senior program: adopters over age 65 may name their own adoption fee (even $0). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
