Shea's Story...
Hi, my name is Shea! I am 1 of 3 puppies found in a box by a good Samaritan and brought to the nice ladies at Tails of the Unwanted. My sisters and I are estimated to be 9-10 weeks old as of March 26th. I am looking for someone that is home a lot that can let me out for potty breaks, teach me to do my business outside, and play with me so I can grow up to be a good citizen! I will be ready to go to your home after April 5th. I will be current on all age appropriate vaccinations, wormed, microchipped and spayed. Adoption Fee - $350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shea, a Greensboro Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
