My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy.” Well at least my name is Dandee. I might be a Dandy Dinmont Terrier. So how did I end up at Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas? Call it a case of mistaken identity but the nice people at CSRET kept their word and pulled me from the shelter. I’m kinda small – less than 12” at the shoulder and weight just 16 pounds but have a long sturdy body. I might be what they call a “pepper” color but we won’t know that until my coat grows out – they gave me a burr cut at the shelter. I’m 18 months to 2 years old and have an exceptionally gregarious personality. I will probably do well with an active family with children.
