Apollo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Apollo's Story...
He’s a 2yo Boxer/Lab who LOVES to play! His new home will have to have a sibling to show
him confidence. He & his mama lived in a wire kennel for the past 2 years so finding out that
people are good & the world isn’t a scary place will take a gentle hand. He finds women easier
to trust but does love his foster dad. He hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like, he is learning to not be
so excited with cats. He is healthy & UTD on his vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Colorado Springs Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
