Siggy's Info...

Siggy's Story...
Siggy and her NINE brothers and sisters were born in foster care with volunteers from Friendswood Animal Control. She is a sweet and outgoing puppy who is friendly and gentle.

When she grows up, Siggy will need a family or person who can give him lots of exercise. She would not be a good "outdoor" dog as his breed is known to climb fences when left alone too long. She's a people dog who need to be indoors with the family.

If you would like to meet Siggy, do not call Animal Control, as she is not in the facility. Call her foster mom, Amy at 281-728-2248 for more information about her. Her adoption fee is just $50 and includes first round of vaccines, rabies shot, microchipping, neutering, and free vet exam.

Act quickly to adopt Siggy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siggy, a Friendswood Black Mouth Cur/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur/Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Friendswood, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Friendswood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Friendswood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Friendswood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur/Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur/Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Friendswood paves the way for another one to be saved.
