MEET JENNIE!
This uniquely beautiful dilute calico is named Jennie! Jennie is around 10 years old and came to City of Elderly Love in the fall when she found herself in a local veterinary office after being found as a homeless on the streets. Jennie was microchipped, but her previous family decided that they no longer wanted pets. The hospital staff reached out for help and Jennie landed a loving foster home where she could recover from her stint on the streets. Jennie has since healed from her big adventure and is now on the hunt for a true forever home!
You might notice that Jennie has adorable crinkled ears. She's not a fancy Russian Fold or mystery breed, she simply had hematomas at some point earlier in life which healed and left her with even more character! Her ears don't cause her any troubles, but do need to be cleaned routinely due to their shape. She doesn't mind a bit. In addition to her beauty, Jennie also has a great personality to match. She loves, loves, loves attention and will bump up against you for love and pets. Sometimes, she'll even stick her tongue out and purr like crazy! Jennie isn't an overly active cat and is happy to lounge around the house, snuggle on the couch, and stretch out in the sun puddle on the floor. Jennie recently lived in a foster home with a small child and was friendly and appropriate with her though she might appreciate a quieter forever home where she can express her chill personality. Jennie also recently lived with other cats and made it clear that she wants to be the boss. She has met dogs since coming to the rescue and isn't too thrilled when they're around. She'd probably be happiest in a home without other animals. But no worries, this big, beautiful girl will provide you with lots of love and laughter!
Jennie is currently residing at our adoption kennels at Pet Supplies Plus in Phoenixville! You can stop by any day to meet her at 700 Nutt Rd. Phoenixville, PA 19460.
