Hi there! My name is Foxy! I'm about 2-3 years old, and only 12 lbs. My foster mom says my fur is like a little red fox. She also says I make cute fox-like noises when I want something! Like food-- do you have any? I love breakfast, dinner and especially treats. I’m highly food motivated which means I'll go anywhere you want me to as long as you have food!
I live with five other small dogs, both male and female and get along with everyone although I love to be the center of attention and sometimes push others out of the way so I can be petted. I gently paw at my foster parents face when they're not paying attention to me. I also was recently exposed to the dog park and had no problem making new friends! I've never met a cat before but with proper introductions, I'd probably be fine. I'm potty trained and I have my own little door that I love to go in and out of all by myself!
When I first came to my foster home I was very timid and scared. Sometimes I can still be a little nervous around new people especially men but have been warming up to more and more people. My poor foster dad thought I didn't like him when I first arrived. But after a couple weeks of patience and lots of treats he's my new best buddy. My foster mom says I would be best suited for a household that has older children who understand when I am a little scared.
Did I mention I LOVE toys? My foster siblings have this HUGE bin of toys that they never seem to use. When I get the chance I empty each of the toys one by one out of the bin and fling them all around the house. You can see me do this trick in the video above. My tail never seems to stop wagging!
I walk like a champ on the leash but need some work in the car. Right now when we go places in the car I sit quietly in my crate but if I'm out of my crate and can see out the window I get a little anxious with the world flying by. I sleep quietly in my pen all night. I love my foster brother's crate and try to get in with him every chance I get. I also love to snuggle under the blankets in my bed or on the couch. So if you wanted me to sleep on the bed with you I'd love that too. I want a canine companion in my dream home or if not a person who isn’t gone all day working. I’d be lonely.

All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
