Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***6/23/17 - ADOPTION PENDING!***
Jax is a 1 year old Australian cattledog x border collie mix that was born on 2/19/2016. He weighs 40 pounds. Jax just happens to be deaf.
This is a very nice dog who has had a great start in life. He is housetrained and has learned sign language. He will ring a bell at the door when he needs to go outside. Jax loves people and gets along with other dogs. He is not crate trained, but is not destructive in the house when left alone. We do not know how Jax is with cats.
Jax has not lived with children, but has been around them at family reunions and did well with them. Jax has been trained with a remote collar and responds well to it.
He is very smart so needs a home where he will be challanged to continue learning. On top of that he is also very active, so needs a family that can provide daily exercise or activities. Jax loves to retrieve and is very playful. He is a great frisbee dog! He would be great at canine nosework or other dog sports.

You must be willing to come to southwestern Idaho to meet Jax if you are interested in possibly adopting him. His adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter and vaccinations. **You must have a fenced yard to adopt Jax.**
