Liam is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Liam is currently fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County).

Liam is a year-old corgi x Jack Russell or beagle. He is about 28-30 lbs. He is very affectionate and extremely playful - he loves to play with toys and tug. He is doing amazingly at dock diving - such a fun little guy to watch jump! He is now going after rollers when playing disc, and could learn to be a disc dog for sure.  Liam is a fast and driven learner, and we really want to see him go to a home that will take him to classes like dock diving and agility. He also did well at barn hunt, vocalizing nicely when he found the rat. Liam loves his people and does fine with kids, but because of his energy we do not recommend very young kids for his home. Liam is housebroken, crate trained, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, neutered, and heartworm negative.

About Ewenity Farm Herding Dog Haven

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one on one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are a highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since all rescue dogs live in our homes with us or in foster homes, you will need to travel to meet any dog you might want to adopt.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog.

Our Adoption Process...

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We conduct home visits. There is an adoption fee that is usually around $250 per dog to cover any expenses we have incurred. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.
