"Bonjour! My name is LOUIS, and I'm a delightful eight-year-old Toy Poodle who will charm your socks off. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm an amusing and curious little guy who enjoys going on walks and exploring the play yard, but I also love to be held and snuggled. I'm very intelligent, so you can actually see that I'm thinking things through when a new situation presents itself. I like to be around people and other dogs, so I'd be a great little family pet. It might take me a second to get to know a person, but I figure out very quickly that a new person is typically a new friend. The staff is fairly sure that I've already been house trained, but be sure to praise me when I go potty in the right place when I get to my new home. Positive reinforcement is the best way for me to learn. You'll be happy to know that, as a senior pet, my adoption fee is only $30. The fee includes my neuter, microchip, and current basic shots. That's a pretty good deal for a wonderful little dog! Please come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and be sure to ask the staff to take us out to the play yard together so you can get to know all about me. See you soon! Love, Louis"
