My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Triton is a majestic 5-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by his owner on September 15, 2016.

This magnificent guy has a sleek black short smooth coat with subtle chocolate brown shading, a white blaze on his chest, white front paws, a long tail, and a handsome face with expressive brown eyes and short floppy ears. Triton appears to be wearing a formal Tuxedo when you see him in person :)

When Triton entered our shelter in mid-September 2016, he tipped the scales at a hefty 105 lbs. Obviously he had been enjoying too many high-calorie snacks while lounging in his bed and watching his favorite Netflix movies :)

Thanks to a healthy diet (and a great exercise program lead by our dedicated team of volunteers who have faithfully walked Triton over the past six months), Triton now weighs 85 lbs and is a poster child for physical fitness :)

Triton has a friendly, outgoing personality and loves his adult people friends. His previous owner told us that Triton is good with older children/teenager. He is not good with cats :( Triton has been kept indoors and is housebroken. This big guy is afraid of loud noses such as fireworks, gunshots, and thunderstorms.

Triton has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies vaccine.
