Sawyer's Story...
This handsome hound boy is Sawyer and he is looking for his forever family. He does have the typical bay of a hound and would do best living out in the county. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle up with his person. He could live with respectful children that can handle a large dog that could potentially knock them over. He could most likely live with a confident cat that wont run if chased. Sawyer seems to like other dogs and could live with another canine companion. He will have to meet any potential house mates to ensure they get along. Sawyer will need an active home that can give him plenty of exercise to keep him happy and healthy. If you are interested in meeting Sawyer, please fill out an application at the front desk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sawyer, a Bellingham Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
