Date of Birth: 2007
Scamper took some time to warm up to his foster family due to aggressive handling in his recent past. He often hid in the closet or under the bed in the beginning.
Note from foster family: After he got to know us better, he started to lick our hands. His nips/bites have several meanings: like I like you, thank you, I am hungry, this is not what I want, this thing may hurt me, I want to sleep, or lets play. it took us sometime to get to know him better and not to misunderstand him.
Funny quirks:: He can stand very well on hind legs when trying to reach our hands at play. He likes to walk on our bodies and knead them at the same time, seems to give us a massage. But will wake us up at five to beg for food. He likes to sleep on our bed, but will sleep alone too. He can understand some instructions and responds very well even when we speak other language than English. It seems that he is quite intelligent to pick up some key words and know the meaning.
This beauty of a guy deserves a loving and caring home.
