My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, email caarescue@gmail.com if serious about adoption~
My name is Tilly and I have been in foster care with CAA Rescue for a few weeks now. I was released by my family because they said I was too hyper but I am not sure what they expected from a 9 month old baby girl!
I am dog friendly and people friendly. With my previous family I did live with children and cats with no issue according to them. While in CAA Rescue Foster Care I have not been tested with children and cats though.
I am a typical goofy girl with long legs and need a lot of growing up and continued training to make sure I remain a positive canine citizen.
I do my business outside and when left alone I am clean in the house. Although I have been known from time to time to counter surf when no one is watching and help myself to whatever my foster daddy left behind unattended. Not my fault though! I may be 9 months old but clearly no one has spent any time with me teaching me anything so now I am a true puppy but in a big 55lbs girl body! And while everyone thinks I look too skinny the vet gave me a perfect score card of 3 out of 5; 3 is the most ideal But I do suspect that I will gain a little more weight as I fill out into adulthood, so I guess I will probably weigh somewhere between 60-70lbs.
I like the car rides well enough but really I prefer to be out walking and hiking and playing.
I need an active family with experience who really wants to work with me on my basic obedience; I listen well enough to my foster dad (…usually…) if I get too excited my hearing can be selective.
Due to my size and puppy clumsiness I would be better off in a home with older children. I would hate to knock someone over and cause them injury resulting in me having to be rehomed again. I do not have a mean bone in my body so anything that could happen would be unintentional but just like my first family gave me up because I was too hyper around the kids I don’t want this to happen again.
