for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Dolly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with dogs.

Dolly's Story...
Dolly is an affectionate, happy dog who is a great companion, especially for an active person. But she loves her couch cuddle time too. She got along fine with a bunch of other dogs in foster care, but in her new adoptive home she was agressive and wanted to establish dominance, so she was returned. She should probably be the only dog in the home, but will mostly likely be fine with other dogs she meets after an outdoor introduction. She needs an owner who knows how to be the "pack leader" or she will attempt to become the leader herself. We haven't seen her with kids.

Dolly appears to be part Husky, with bright blue eyes. She ihas gorgeous, thick, lush fur that you can bury your hands in. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly for 9 hours overnight in her crate.

Dolly is already in New Hampshire and you can visit her in Alstead by calling Bonnie at 603 835-6154. Bonnie can also tell you more about our adoption process. We do our application by phone. Dolly's adoption fee is $325.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Alstead Husky/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Beagle for sale in Alstead, or seeking a Husky/Beagle dog from a breeder in Alstead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alstead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alstead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Beagle breeders who help with Husky/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alstead paves the way for another one to be saved.
