Bear's Story...
Bear is a Handsome boy with the most beautiful mahogany coat of hair. He is a happy boy that loves to run and play. When he first meets a person he has to have a few minutes to know you mean no harm and then he will be giving big slurpy kisses. He LOVES belly rubs and good old scratches. He plays well with other dogs. He weighs about 60 lbs, 1.5 yrs old and we are only guessing on his background. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is 400.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Newburgh German Shepherd Dog/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Collie for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Collie dog from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
